Reports
Onetest provides three types of assessment reports to help recruiters and candidates quickly understand and interpret test results:
- Position Reports
- Individual Reports
- Candidate Feedback Reports.
Position Reports
Position Reports rank the performance of all candidates across all tests and provide an overall indication of the suitability of each applicant to the position.
The core of the Position Report is the suitability index, as shown in the example below.
A ‘suitability’ score is calculated for each candidate who completes all assigned assessments. Suitability scores range from 0 to 100 and quantify the extent to which each person matches the position requirements. The higher the suitability score, the higher the likelihood that the individual will be right for the role.
The Position Report allows you to rank all candidates from most to least suitable. In this way the Position Report shows the degree of potential ‘job fit’ for each candidate and their comparison to other candidates.
This is the most cost and time effective means of short listing candidates for interview. It is also ethical, legally robust and valid.
Individual Reports
Individual Reports provide a detailed analysis of each candidate’s test results. These reports are typically for internal use and are not provided to candidates.
Individual Reports can be viewed by clicking on each candidate’s name in the Position Report. The Individual Report includes:
-
An overall ‘suitability’ score
- Summaries of each test completed
- Detailed results for each specific test completed, including comparisons to the selected normative groups, where applicable
- Visually appealing charts, diagrams and tables
- Supporting interpretation of results.
Candidate Feedback Reports
Candidates receive Feedback Reports summarising their performance on relevant tests.
Feedback Reports are usually automatically sent via email and provide high level feedback regarding a candidate’s test scores. No information regarding the candidate’s potential suitability to the role is provided and the information is different to the detail provided in the Individual Report.
Onetest provides Feedback Reports to candidates for a number of reasons:
- Candidate Experience – Organisations usually want to ensure that candidates are treated like customers. Their experience with the company needs to be as positive as possible, irrespective of whether or not they are employed.
- Provide Feedback – Candidates are keen to find out information about their performance during the selection process. Providing Feedback Reports means that candidates automatically receive information about their results, which reduces the amount of manual correspondence recruiters need to engage in.
- Perceived Time Investment – Candidates feel the time and effort they have provided to the recruitment process has been valued and respected when they receive instant, meaningful feedback. This again reflects positively on the recruiting organisation.
