Fire & Rescue New South Wales is the State Government agency responsible for the provision of fire, rescue and hazmat services in cities and towns across New South Wales and is one of the key agencies involved in the response phase of most emergency or disaster events throughout NSW.

Project Overview

Fire & Rescue New South Wales identified a lack of workforce diversity as a key impediment to creating a positive and innovative culture within the organisation and were seeking a solution to encourage and support greater workforce diversity in their recruitment and selection processes.

Onetest provided an online assessment solution which integrated the New South Wales public sector eRecruit system (Taleo) into a two phased testing process aligning the role competencies and values framework to assist with identifying best-fit candidates for the organisation.
