"Defcredit use Onetest's Recruitment Management System and integrated Assessment Management System - specifically the Cognitive Ability Test, Work Preference Profile and Values Inventory - to evaluate candidates vying for a broad range of positions including: tellers, customer service officers, supervisors and branch managers. This technology provides us with objective and measurable information on the suitability of candidates for a particular role, as well as their likely level of job performance and fit within the organisation. 

Working with Onetest, we conducted an analysis of all candidates that were hired in the 2005/2006 financial year; in which candidate's assessment results were compared with supervisor evaluations of performance conducted 3-12 months after commencing work with Defcredit. 

The results demonstrated that the assessments used at the recruitment stage greatly assisted in the prediction of the employee's level of performance (82% - 90% of the time).  With consistent results like these, we are confident that we can use the assessments to predict the candidates that will perform well on the job long-term.
