In July 2012, Onetest invited former graduates who completed psychometric tests when applying for graduate programs between 2002 and 2011 to participate in a longitudinal study of their career outcomes.
The Onetest Graduate Outcomes Survey 2012 comprised more than 50 questions focussing on three key themes:
- Back Then – Life as a graduate and their first job
- Now – Current career
- About You – Demographics and profiling.
We surveyed over 2,800 people who completed psychometric tests when applying for graduate positions between 2002 and 2011. We asked these former graduates more than 50 questions covering their experience as a graduate, their working life now and a broad range of demographic profiling questions, and matched their responses with their individual psychometric test results.
To our knowledge, this is the first study in Australia to examine the interaction between graduates’ individual characteristics, psychometric assessment results and their professional careers.
